Swindle a 252 page book by Gordon Korman is a story about a boy named Griffin finds an old Babe Ruth baseball card and sells it to a card shop. The man at the card shop (Swindle) tells him it’s a fake and gives him five dollars for it. What Griffin doesn’t know is the card was a really rare million dollar card he got tricked out of. Griffin gathers up a team and steals it back. Swindle is a very selfish man.
Swindle only cares about himself. For example he knew all along that the card was worth a ton of money but he cheated Griffin. Another time he was selfish was when he denied buying it from him so he could keep all of the money for him self. This is a very good book that all kids should read!
