The journal of Wong Ming-Cung a Chinese miner critiqe

The journal of Wong Ming-Chung a Chinese miner
By Lawrence Yep
"Lets go the golden mountain and pick up gold nuggets the size of watermelons"
In 220 page book The journal of Wong Ming-Chung a Chinese miner a boy named bright intelagence and his uncle go to california to make a fortune gold mining. They have to go too california because their family is poor. The two miners take a ship from tiger rock China, to San Francisco california.
I would recomend this book because of the american & chinese history. If you are someone who likes reading about clasic gold rush events, then this book is for you. What makes the book so good is that Bright Intellagence shows everyone they are wrong, by coming up with a trick to fing gold. He and his uncle would go to old claims that were played out and get the dust from the boards inside. After they did this they paned the dust out and got gold. The miners that were there before them dusted off their cloths and gold came off their cloths while panning for gold.
The book The journal of Wong Ming-Chung a Chinese miner by Lawrence Yep not only tells a story of a miner, it restates history. This book is a book all sixth graders should read because they will remember the book for the rest of their life. Everyone should read The journal of Wong Ming-Chung a Chinese miner.
